BigBussiness – Business people in Jakarta welcomed and were happy to implement the transitional PSBB by Governor Anies Baswedan.
This new regulation enters into force from 12 October to 25 October 2020 as stated in the Governor’s Decree No. 102 of 2020 on the enforcement of major social restrictions during the transition period towards a healthy, safe and productive society.
“At least the Jakarta economy is starting to get excited again, even though it is still within the 50 percent limit, various service business sectors such as hotels, restaurants, cafes, restaurants, shops, malls, malls, people’s markets, warehouses, factories, tourist / recreation centers, SMEs in “lokbin, salon / barbershop can operate again,” said chairman of the board of DPD Association of Indigenous Indonesian Entrepreneurs (Hippi) DKI Jakarta Sarman Simanjorang in a press release in Jakarta, Sunday (11/10/2020).
Sarman said, a sense of optimism from entrepreneurs has returned with the re-enactment of the transitional PSBB, of course with the hope of no longer a return to the tightened PSBB.

“It is our usual duty to always be disciplined in implementing health protocols so that the spread of the Covid-19 virus is controlled and continues to slow down, so that the government can take even looser policies,” he said.
He revealed that currently the cash flow to employers is increasingly worrying, their monthly obligations are no longer balanced with existing income. If PSBB is tightened for too long, it is possible that many entrepreneurs will leave the business and unemployment will increase.
“Hopefully, this transitional PSBB will increase the enthusiasm of entrepreneurs to survive this Covid 19 pandemic, while we pray that the covid 19 vaccine trial process will go smoothly so that it can be realized immediately,” he said.
“We business players hope that the progress in Christmas and New Year can be used to increase households’ purchasing power / consumption, so that it can maintain economic growth in the fourth quarter of 2020 towards positive growth, of course with policies that are already loose and normal,” he added.
During this transitional period for the PSBB, he also hopes that the government will not be careless in carrying out monitoring, socialization and regular actions, including carrying out periodic inspections.
